World of Concrete 2027 freight timeline

Worked backward from the Jan 19, 2027 opening. These are typical and estimated dates for planning; your exhibitor manual has the actual warehouse window, target times and move-out deadlines.

Step When Notes
Book your carrier Nov 24–Dec 8, 2026 Typical 6–8 weeks before the show opens. Earlier still for oversize freight or anything moving over the holidays.
Advance warehouse opens Dec 17, 2026 Estimated Advance warehouses typically start receiving about 30 days before move-in.
Freight arrives at the advance warehouse Jan 2–9, 2027 Typical 1–2 weeks before move-in: inside the receiving window and clear of the late-arrival deadline.
Move-in Jan 16–18, 2027 Estimated Freight goes from the warehouse to your booth. Direct-to-show trucks check in at the marshalling yard for their target window.
Show open Jan 19–21, 2027 Show dates World of Concrete on the show floor.
Show close and outbound freight Jan 21–23, 2027 Estimated Outbound carrier and paperwork set before close, so nothing becomes forced freight.

The timeline will be worked out again from the next show dates once they're announced. As a rule of thumb: book your carrier 6–8 weeks out, expect the advance warehouse to open about 30 days before move-in, and aim to have freight there 1–2 weeks before move-in.

What World of Concrete freight looks like

World of Concrete moves heavy iron: concrete pumps, mixers, saws, power trowels, skid steers and compact equipment, plus palletized materials such as admixtures, forms and reinforcing. Much of it ships on flatbeds, step decks and RGN or lowboy trailers rather than dry vans, and the largest pieces need oversize permits, escorts and careful securement and tarping for the trip. On the far end it comes off with a crane or a large forklift, not a dock plate.

What's different about World of Concrete logistics

Big equipment usually goes direct to show site on an assigned move-in schedule rather than through the advance warehouse, because it is too large to handle there. Many large exhibits are outdoors, and pieces have to arrive in the order they will be set, since a crane can't place the machine at the back of the space once the front is full. SHOT Show moves in the same week at Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum, so local trucks, cranes and labor are split between two large shows.

How B&P helps

B&P Logistics is based in Las Vegas. We handle the trucking to and from World of Concrete: booking the carrier early, scheduling the linehaul backward from your advance warehouse or show-site target dates, and coordinating with the show's general service contractor (GSC) on paperwork, check-in and outbound freight. Between shows, we can store your booth at our Las Vegas warehouse so it's ready for the next one.

We don't perform drayage. The GSC does, and nobody can change its rate. What we control is how your freight arrives: on target, crated, consolidated into fewer shipments and on a truck that unloads cleanly. That's what keeps drayage at the base rate. Read how trade show drayage is billed →
