What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, such as your preferences, and can help the site function properly or help us understand how visitors use the site.

How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for two purposes only:

• Strictly necessary: A single cookie stores your cookie consent preference so the consent banner does not re-appear on every page after you have made a choice.
• Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors navigate the site: which pages are most visited, how long visitors spend on the site, and general geographic region. This helps us improve the site. Analytics cookies and identifiers are only set after you click "Accept." Google Analytics runs in a consent-aware mode on every page: until you accept, it does not set analytics cookies or identify you, though it may send anonymous, cookieless signals to Google (see below). We also use Microsoft Clarity to capture how visitors use the site, through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay. Clarity uses first- and third-party cookies and loads only after you click "Accept."

We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies, and we do not use analytics data for advertising. Microsoft Clarity sets a third-party Microsoft cookie (MUID) that Microsoft also uses across its own services; Microsoft's handling of it is covered by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Cookies We Set

Analytics Cookies and Consent

We use Google Consent Mode. Google Analytics loads on every page, but the analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) are only set after you click "Accept" on the cookie consent banner. If you click "Decline," no analytics cookies are set and you are not assigned an identifier. In that case Google Analytics still sends anonymous, cookieless signals to Google, such as a page-view event without any cookie or persistent identifier, which are aggregated and cannot be traced back to you or your device.

When you accept, Google Analytics collects data such as pages visited, time spent on the site, browser type, and approximate geographic location (city/country level). Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to capture how visitors use the site: behavioral metrics such as clicks, scrolling, and time on page, heatmaps of where visitors click and scroll, and session replays that reconstruct how a visit unfolded. We use this to find pages that are confusing or broken and to improve the site. Clarity uses first-party cookies (_clck, _clsk) and third-party cookies (CLID, MUID), listed in the table above.

Clarity does not load at all until you click "Accept" on the cookie consent banner. If you click "Decline," the Clarity script is never loaded and no Clarity cookies are set. If you accept and later change your choice through "Cookie Settings," we tell Clarity to stop collecting data. Microsoft processes Clarity data as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You have several ways to manage cookies:

• Consent banner: On your first visit, use the "Accept" or "Decline" buttons to set your preference.
• Cookie Settings: Use the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer at any time to re-open the banner and change your choice.
• Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking all cookies may affect site functionality.
• Google Analytics opt-out: You can also install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics across all sites.
